I just received an email about an exciting opportunity with Amazon Student. A brand ambassador is usually someone (a student) who gets paid to participate in campus promotion of a specific brand or product. As an ambassador for Amazon, you will be the face of the Amazon Student program for your campus.
What does the job entail?
Directly from the website:
As a brand ambassador, you get paid for generating excitement, awareness, and buzz about Amazon through seeking out unique opportunities that will connect students with the Amazon brand. You will execute events on or around campus and promote everything from the latest Amazon devices to top-selling retail products sold on Amazon.com.
What are the benefits?
Competitive compensation, plus bonus opportunities
Enhance leadership, sales, marketing and event management skills
Report directly to an Amazon marketing manager
Develop professional experience and build your résumé by working with Amazon.com, a Fortune 100 Company and the world’s largest online retailer
Who is eligible?
To qualify, you must be an undergraduate student during the 2015-2016 school year and able to commit approximately 4-5 hours a week for the entire academic school year. In addition to be enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working, you must also be able to attend a three-day training in Seattle at the beginning of August. The training in itself seems like a very exciting opportunity!
