ID.me is a website that lets you get the best offers from your favorite brands. In addition to saving money, you can also earn cash back on your purchases! Additionally, ID.me is also available for first responders, military personnel and teachers.
Once you create an ID.me account which also serves as your “digital wallet,” you securely verify your identity and affiliation with one of the eligible groups mentioned above. How do I receive cash back?
ID.me has a cash back program that consists of four different levels – Basic, Preferred, Premium and VIP. Rising through the levels means that you can receive an increase in the cash back percentage you earn on every purchase.
You earn points that result in higher cash back levels by taking certain actions such as personalizing your account, sharing with friends and shopping regularly. There are also “Instant VIP” actions that allow you to extend your VIP level for certain periods of time.
When do I get paid?
You’re paid in cash each quarter that you have at least $10 in cash back. Directly from the ID.me website:
We determine your cash back award by tracking all of your purchases made through our site and then calculating the corresponding amount of commission we receive from retailers. We then allocate a percentage of our commission to you, commensurate with your cash back level (between 33%-67%). Your level at the end of each month is used to calculate what cash back percentage you receive on all of your purchases for that month.
