What is Dealspotr?

How does it work?

At first glance, I’ll admit that the website might seem a little confusing. However, once you get the hang of it you’ll be saving money in no time. After you finish registration, you’ll taken to a page known as your personal deal feed. This will show you updates on brands, coupon bloggers and other deal experts that you have followed so that you are only seeing deals and offers that are based on your interests. This is essentially very similar to a social network feed.

One of the cool things about Dealspotr is that all of the coupon codes have screenshots that show you that they work successfully. This means that coupon codes are kept up to date and expired codes are removed fairly quickly so that you don’t have to spend time trying to find a working code, and we all know that this can sometimes be a hassle. It is worth mentioning that Dealspotr claims to have 4.5X more working codes than both RetailMeNot and Honey.

How do I find deals?

The easiest way to find deals is to follow your favorite stores and brands so that the latest deals for them are shown to your on your feed. You can search for a specific store, product or influencer as well. For example, each page has information about the brand and shows you how to find deals for that brand. Dealspotr also contains exclusive codes posted directed by brands.

There are tons of helpful tutorials and videos on the Dealspotr YouTube Channel which show you things like how to enter in coupon codes at various merchants.

What are points and how do I earn them?

In addition to saving money, the points you earn on Dealspotr can be redeemed for gift cards! Every 10,000 points earns you an Amazon gift card. One of the first ways to earn points is to complete the new user checklist which includes confirming your email address, completing your profile, following a store and posting a deal. You can earn the most points by being a deal editor which involves sharing deals that you come across with the Dealspotr community. As a deal editor, you’ll make sure that coupon codes are accurate and up to date and expired coupons are gone. Deal Post Projects are ways that you can earn even more points. Select stores will be show to you for which your task is to find a promo code or printable for that store. If you are successful in finding one, you’ll earn bonus points. Your accuracy score can increase as when you post or validate more deals.

How do I post a deal?

Posting a deal is simple. All that you have to do is enter in the store name and chose whether the deal is a promo code, a coupon, sale announcement or in-store printable, or a deal on a specific product at a very special price. You can add specifics like an expiration date, whether it is a single-use or site-wide, free shipping, BOGO, etc. You can also add a direct URL that automatically inputs the code and even add your own tips or other information about the deal that you think other shoppers would find useful. Are you a blogger or social marketing influencer?

As mentioned earlier, Dealspotr has opportunities for bloggers and for social media and marketing influencers through the marketplace, Dealspotr is unique in that brands can post promotional campaigns in the marketplace to connect with influencers.
