Nielsen is currently looking for users to join their mobile panel. The Nielsen Mobile Panel collects information about mobile device usage in order to help improve mobile products and services.

In order for us to report accurate data to the mobile industry, we use Nielsen’s proprietary applications and profiles to measure the normal activity of your phone, tablet, or other mobile device. All data transmitted is encrypted and anonymous. All you have to do is download the Nielsen Mobile App or install our profile, depending on your device, and then continue using your mobile device as you usually do – that’s it! The Nielsen Mobile software is undetectable and will not affect your device’s performance or battery life.
What devices are supported?
Previously, iPhone was the only supported device. However, you can now use multiple iOS devices with iOS 6 or later, Android devices with OS 2.3-5.1.1, and Kindle Fire 7 or HD models.
How much can I earn? What rewards are available?
You can earn up to $50 a year. The longer you keep the app and profile installed on your phone, the more points you can earn towards rewards. This is definitely an easy method of earning some extra passive income. You do not have to do anything once the app is installed on your phone and you are free to leave the panel at any time.
During your first month, you will receive a welcome bonus and points every week. Then, you’ll receive points monthly thereafter. I have been using the app for about a little over a month and am ready to redeem my favorite reward, an Amazon.com gift card. Some of the rewards they offer include electronics, appliances, gift cards, and even some travel experiences if you’re a seasoned panel member. The only downside that I’ve found is that there is a small points redemption fee whenever you chose a prize, so a few points will come from your balance each time you checkout.
