What is USATalkNow and what kinds of surveys are available?

USATalkNow is an online survey panel exclusively for US citizens.This panel offers many different types of online surveys and opportunities to participate in focus groups and other types of studies. There are a wide range of topics available such as entertainment and health, so there are almost guaranteed to be surveys and focus groups that will interest you.

How long are the surveys?

Every survey that I have been invited to participate in has ranged from about 5-20 minutes (and they tell you the amount of time that surveys estimated to be completed in like every survey panel). I also feel that they are painless and actually fun to complete.

Focus groups are different and range in length depending on whether it is an online or in-person focus group. But, are  compensated exceptionally well for you time and efforts.

I was also able to participate in a week-long study for an incredible incentive; I’ll provide more details in the “My Experience” section below.

Who is eligible and where do I sign up?

You are eligible to sign up by yourself if you are more than 18 years of age. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you must receive consent from a parent or guardian.

What are the perks and rewards?

You earn real dollar amounts for each survey that you complete. Once you achieve the minimum amount (which is very quickly), you can “cash out” your earnings for excellent rewards like gift certificates or a prepaid MasterCard. I frequently cash out Amazon.com gift codes because it feels like I shop there at least once or twice a week now.

My Experience

I have personally been a member of USATalkNow for a few years and I have never had a problem with the website or redeeming rewards. Last year, I was able to participate in an in-person focus group and was compensated very well as I said earlier. This year, however, I was able to participate in a really interesting study about my asthma. The study lasted a week and I did it entirely through mobile app, along with a short phone interview at the end of that week. I was paid $400 for my efforts!

I would say that these surveys would definitely be easy to complete between classes or during some downtime, and the potential to earn rewards is excellent as you have seen. Good luck!
